  COPPERZILLA

Copperzilla is ideal for applying a small amount to a patch for coating the bore.

For most of our customers (90%) they will only need to use Gunzilla to remove the copper and lead fouling. But Copperzilla will speed up the process of removing the most difficult copper and/or lead fouling. It will also speed up the removal of leading fouling left in shotguns from shooting slugs. Once the difficult copper and lead fouling is removed then the bore and the rest of the gun are to be cleaned with Gunzilla.

We are pleased to announce the introduction of Copperzilla QCLR, developed to remove the most difficult copper and lead fouling quickly.

Copperzilla is made from plant derived based materials, is non flammable and has virtually no odor.  It does not contain any ammonia or petroleum solvents.  Copperzilla can be left on any steel or stainless barrel for an extended period of time without harming the barrel.

Copperzilla is designed to be used with Gunzilla BC-10 when cleaning the bore.  It is applied to a patch or nylon/plastic brush and then a coating is placed on the bore.  Copperzilla should remain on the bore for 20 to 30 minutes and then dry patched out.  If all the copper is removed then Gunzilla BC-10 should be used to clean, lubricate and protect the bore along with the remaining parts of the weapon.

The majority of our Gunzilla customers (over 90%) will never need or benefit from using Copperzilla because they are very happy with the speed and effectiveness of Gunzilla BC-10 for removing copper, lead and plastic fouling.  But we developed Copperzilla over a two year period to remove the most difficult and severe copper and lead fouling quickly without hurting the bore.  In these difficult bores Gunzilla would have to sit overnight to remove the copper and once in a while for removing lead, but with Copperzilla it will remove the copper and lead within 30 minutes.  Once a barrel is clean and coated with Gunzilla the next cleaning will always be quicker.

Speed of Copperzilla compared to Gunzilla in removing copper from a barrel:  In 50% of the barrels and especially in military weapons most will see little difference in the speed between Copperzilla and Gunzilla for removing copper.  However in difficult barrels or where solid copper bullets are used, it will take 30 minutes with Copperzilla and it might take as long as overnight to remove the copper using Gunzilla alone.  If Gunzilla is removing the copper effectively and at the speed you desire then continue using only Gunzilla.

Speed of Copperzilla compared to Gunzilla in removing lead from a barrel:  In most cases there will be little difference in the speed between Gunzilla and Copperzilla for removing lead.  However, if the barrel has been known to be difficult for removing lead in the past and if Gunzilla had to sit in the barrel for an extended period of time to remove the lead, then Copperzilla will help speed up the lead removal.

Speed of Copperzilla compared to Gunzilla in removing plastic from barrel and choke tubes:  In most cases Gunzilla BC-10 will be quicker at removing plastic from shotguns when compared to Copperzilla.  The speed at which Gunzilla removes plastic is considered by many to be the quickest in the industry.
